The service

We move staff between nine provinces and bring suppliers in. We know the paperwork.

BNBM PNG books domestic flights for staff and prepares visa documentation for visiting suppliers and technicians as a matter of routine. Trade account customers sometimes ask whether we can help with the same paperwork.

Where we can, we do — as part of the trading relationship, through the account manager you already deal with. It is help we extend, not a service we sell, and the distinction matters: selling travel and charging for immigration advice are both licensed activities.

What is covered

Read this part before anything else.

The second column matters as much as the first. Where something is not ours to do, this page says so rather than leaving you to find out later.

What this covers

  • Telling you what a supplier or technician visit normally requires
  • Helping assemble a document pack from the checklist
  • Pointing you at the right office or counter
  • Sharing what we have learned bringing our own suppliers into the country

What it does not cover

  • Selling you a ticket, issuing a fare, or acting as a travel agent
  • Charging a fee for immigration assistance of any kind
  • Lodging, representing or advocating an application on your behalf
  • Any advice about your eligibility, or any assurance about an outcome
  • Anything for customers who do not hold a trade account with us
How it works

Step by step.

The same sequence every time, so you know what happens next and what is expected of you.

Ask your account manager

There is no separate desk and no form. Raise it with the person who already handles your account.

We tell you what is normally needed

The checklist, the sequence and the office that handles it — based on what we do for our own visitors.

You assemble the pack

We can help you check it is complete. The documents are yours and the application is yours.

You lodge it

With the relevant authority, or through a licensed agent if you want one. We do not lodge or represent.

What to consider

Before you commit.

The things that most often change the answer, or catch people out.

This is not professional advice

We are a building materials company sharing operational experience. For anything with consequences, use a licensed migration agent or a lawyer.

Rules change without notice

What was accepted for a supplier visit last year may not be accepted this year. Confirm current requirements with the authority before you commit to travel dates.

No fee, and no exceptions to that

We do not charge for this and we do not accept payment for it. If anyone suggests otherwise, it is not coming from BNBM.

Scam warning

Trade accounts first

This sits inside the trading relationship. If you do not hold an account with us, it is the place to start.

Questions

About this service.

Are you a travel agent?

No. We hold a corporate account with an airline for our own staff travel. That is not an agency agreement and we do not sell tickets.

Can you handle my visa application?

No. We can tell you what is normally required and help you check a document pack. Lodging and representing an application is work for a licensed agent.

What does it cost?

Nothing. No fee is charged and none may be accepted. It is part of the trading relationship.

I do not have a trade account. Can you still help?

Not with this. Open a trade account first, and it becomes part of what your account manager can help with.

Ask us

Ask your account manager.

There is no separate desk for this. If you hold a trade account, raise it with the person who already handles it.
