When a vehicle finishes its service with us, it goes out by open tender.
BNBM PNG runs a fleet of more than two hundred vehicles supplying twelve branches. As that fleet is renewed, the vehicles being replaced are offered for sale. Office and IT equipment being retired — computers, printers, furniture — is offered the same way.
Nothing is priced on this website. Each release is published as a list of what is available and where it can be inspected; you decide what it is worth to you and submit an offer. Everyone who registers gets the same list, the same inspection window and the same closing date.

- Delivery — collection is from the branch holding the asset, by the stated date
- Private negotiation outside the published process, at any price

Register your interest
Tell us what you are interested in — vehicles, plant or equipment — and which province suits you. We add you to the notification list for the next release. There is no obligation and no charge to be on it.
Receive the list
When a release opens you receive the asset list and the closing date. We do not publish what an asset cost us or what it is carried at in our books.
Inspect
Inspection is at the branch holding the asset, during the published window. Come and look, or send someone who knows what to look for. What you see is what is sold.
Submit your offer
One written offer per asset, by the closing date, on the form issued with the list. Late offers are not considered.
Outcome and handover
Offers are evaluated together after the closing date and the result is confirmed in writing to everyone who bid. The asset is handed over once payment has cleared to the company bank account named on the invoice.

Inspect it yourself
Our description is what we know, not a guarantee. A vehicle that has worked across Papua New Guinea of PNG roads has a history no condition grade captures. Bring someone who can read it.
Budget past the bid
Transfer fees, registration, insurance, a new RTA inspection and getting the unit off our yard are all yours. On an older truck they are not a rounding error.
Check the bank details, always
We invoice from the company and we are paid to the company account on that invoice. We never ask for payment to a personal account. If anything about a payment instruction looks different, stop and phone the branch on a number from this website.

BNBM PNG is a subsidiary of a state-owned group, and every asset leaving the company already goes through an internal disposal approval before it can be sold. Publishing the result openly is the other half of that.

About this service.
Can anyone bid, or only trade customers?
Anyone. You do not need a trade account with us to register your interest or to submit an offer.
Do you publish a reserve or a guide price?
No. There is no listed price, no reserve published and no guide. You offer what the asset is worth to you.
Can I buy before a release opens?
No. Assets are only sold through the published process. Nobody at BNBM is able to sell you a vehicle outside it, and any offer to do so is not coming from us.
What condition are the vehicles in?
They are working vehicles at the end of their service with us, sold as inspected. Some will need work. That is why there is an inspection window.
How do I pay, and when do I collect?
By bank transfer to the company account named on your invoice. The asset is released once payment clears, and collected from the branch holding it within the period stated in the release.
